It's time to give some belated recognition to two plastics execs who have entered the world of literature in the last few years.
Dwight Morgan, vice president of corporate development with resin distribution firm M. Holland Co., has written a pair of novels focused on Sonny B. Feelright, a young business executive. The first novel, released in 2011, is titled "The Unlikely Career of Sonny B. Feelright," while the second one, titled "The Premature Demise of Sonny B. Feelright," came out in 2012.
Bing Carbone of Modern Plastics focused on business for his book.
Not surprisingly, some of Sonny's adventures involve the plastics market. The first novel is described as "a humorous and sordid portrait of the world of high finance and the unscrupulous people it attracts." Morgan now is working on a third novel in the series, which is set to be released in the first half of 2019.
Bing Carbone, president of resin and shapes distributor Modern Plastics, wrote a 2015 business guide titled "The Positive Leader with a Big Impact." The book "is about being a top notch leader … and it doesn't matter if your education is at a high school or doctorate level."
Both of Morgan's novels and Carbone's book are available on Amazon. They without a doubt would make great stocking stuffers for the plastics people on your holiday shopping list.
