Duna-USA, part of Italy-based Duna Corradini SpA, has completed a multi-million dollar expansion of its headquarters and polyurethane foam manufacturing facility in Baytown, Texas.
The project started in 2016. It includes a "state-of-the-art" automated fabrication department. At the same time, an additional continuous polyurethane production line was added to the site.
Duna Group president Marta Brozzi claims the investment will allow the company to meet increased demand and expected market growth.
"We've exponentially increased production and fabrication capabilities and expect to realize significantly reduced lead times and increased production efficiency," Brozzi said.
The company manufactures polyurethane and polyisocyanurate foams, alongside custom systems for the aerospace, automotive, insulation, marine and construction industries. Applications include cold chain and LNG insulation.
"With the primary expansion goals complete, we are now focusing on expanding the polyisocyanurate side of our Baytown facility," said Duna-USA CEO Andrea Benedetti. "We expect to begin this next phase of internal growth immediately."
