Anaheim, Calif. — Back-to-back networking events will bring together plastics processors, suppliers and leaders for updates on promotional initiatives, industry statistics and mingling on Feb. 6 at Plastec West and Medical Design & Manufacturing (MD&M) West in Anaheim.
Plastec and MD&M are two of the five events making up Advanced Manufacturing Anaheim, the nation's largest showcase of the latest technology and trends relevant to design and production.
Co-located at the Anaheim Convention Center Feb. 5-7, the five events draw 19,000 attendees and 1,900 suppliers specializing in injection molding, automation, molds and dies, materials and product design.
From 3:30-5 p.m., the Manufacturers Association for Plastics Processors (MAPP) and the American Mold Builders Association (AMBA) are putting on a reception for processors and attendees at Booths 805 and 803.
"Partnering with a trade show like Plastec West/MD&M West provides MAPP with an exciting opportunity to support an environment where we and others can learn more about the challenges and solutions available in our industries, while connecting and networking with other industry professionals," MAPP Executive Director Troy Nix said in a news release.
Then, from 5-6:30 p.m., the Washington-based Plastics Industry Association will hold a networking reception in Room 204A of the Anaheim Convention Center.
