Carlisle Companies Inc. has formed a new business unit: Carlisle Spray Foam Insulation, or CSFI. It is part of the Carlisle Construction Materials operating segment.
It includes the Accella Polyurethane Systems spray foam business unit. Carlisle acquired Accella Performance Materials in November 2017.
The spray foam products it supplies are gaining a rebrand, too. BaySeal, Foamsulate and QuadFoam will be consolidated under CSFI's new SealTite family of products.
The company said this is to help reduce market confusion, simplify product identification and selection, and instill customer confidence.
"We looked at either rebranding to Carlisle, or consolidating products into something new," said Al Restaino, vice president of marketing for the Accella portfolio.
After speaking to contractors, distributors, architects and consumers, the firm said it decided that leveraging the Carlisle name and simplifying the message was the way ahead.
"We are especially excited to offer the most comprehensive, complete product portfolio under the SealTite name as we sunset our other legacy brands," said Moody Ozier, marketing director for the business unit.
The new branding was unveiled at the Spray Polyurethane Foam Association's annual meeting in Daytona Beach, Fla.
