Pennsylvania College of Technology will host the 2019 Summit on Best Practices in Apprenticeship May 16 at the Williamsport, Pa., college's Bush Campus Center.
The cost is $79 person, including lunch.
Speakers include Joseph Miller, senior human resources professional at First Quality Tissue in Lockhaven, Pa.; Eric Ramsey, director of the Apprenticeship Training Office at the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry; and Penn College President Davie Jane Gilmour.
The keynote speaker is Eric Seleznow, senior advisor for Jobs for the Future in Washington.
Workshops will discuss building an apprenticeship consortium for manufacturers and healthcare organizations, pre-apprenticeships and a panel discussion.
