Ask the Expert: HP Graphics
In this installment of Ask the Expert, join Tom Giglio of HP Graphics as he explores HP Latex thermoforming from product development, technical and sales perspectives.

In this session, Tom Giglio of HP will take a deep-dive into the technology, but will also show how customers are benefitting from the solutions that HP Latex provides.
HP Latex ink technology is a welcome disruption to the thermoforming industry for many reasons:
- It offers a digital solution, which improves workflow, decreases costly iterations while at the same time broadening the application reach into new emerging markets
- The HP Latex R Series printers print directly to common thermoplastic materials with high image quality
- From a technical perspective, the HP Latex solution offers inks that can withstand high temperatures, produce excellent elongation and retain density in especially challenging applications like backlit graphics
- Finished parts can be machined without any edge-chipping or adhesion anomalies
