Wow. Did you catch that Grammy performance? No, not one during the show, but one in an ad that aired twice during the Jan. 26 broadcast, featuring kazoos, the International Kazoo Players Association and a little social network called Facebook.
The ad featured members of the association having a great time playing their plastic kazoos, before they're invited to join Big Freedia, the "Queen of Bounce." (In a behind-the-scenes video, Freedia admits to never having played the kazoo prior to filming the ad.)
Thank Rick Hubbard, the owner of the only kazoo manufacturing plant in the U.S., Beaufort, S.C.-based Kazoobie Kazoos, and the founder of the IKPA. The ad is intended to boost the social media giant as a way to connect, but let's face it, the real takeaway is that kazoos are fun.
