This week, we are announcing the finalists for the 2024 Best Places to Work in the plastics industry. Sixteen different plastics companies are included this year, which is the 11th year for the annual report. The final rankings will be announced at the Plastics News Executive Forum, March 11-13 in Clearwater Beach, Fla. Profiles of the companies will be published in our April 15 issue.
From the cover we have a featured story on a 3D printed Braille Doodle tool, made for blind people. Reporter Sarah Kominek writes the about the inspiration behind the project and the plastics tools used to make it become reality.
Dispatch from Davos: Steve Toloken, assistant managing editor, is keeping up with online panels at the World Economic Forum where this week advocates found themselves debating the U.N.'s ongoing plastic treaty talks, calling them "not in a good place."
