The Plastek Group, a world leader in plastics manufacturing,<br/>is seeking to fill the following positions for its<br/>facilities located in Erie Pennsylvania. Plastek is a<br/>highly automated, technologically advanced, & a leader<br/>in Design, Mold Making & Plastic Injection molding.<br/><br/>VP OF SALES <br/>Qualified candidates should have 5-7 yrs. plastics industry sales exp.<br/>Preferably in Consumer, Food, Health, Beauty or Cosmetic pkg. areas. Keen ability to<br/>develop, maintain & increase sales both in existing & potential new & target markets.<br/>Manage 4 - 6 accounts. Accounts located in the NY, NJ, & CT areas. Prefer candidates<br/>should be local in those areas as frequent visits to customers are req'd. Candidates must<br/>have the ability to make dynamic engaging presentations, integrate mfg. operations,<br/>address customer concerns & cold call. Possess all Microsoft office skills w/an extra<br/>emphasis on PowerPoint. Formulate, Compose & Deliver intricate & detailed product<br/>proposals. Must be team oriented & able to work from a remote office.<br/><br/>PLASTICS MOLD DESIGN ENGINEER<br/>Design high precision multi cavity plastic<br/>injection molds. Proficiency w/CAD software preferably w/ Pro E - Creo. 5 or more yrs. of<br/>exp. designing plastic injection molds. A tool &/or mold making background. Able to develop<br/>design eng'g solutions to tech. mold problems. A 2 yr. eng'g degree or equiv. exp. pref'd but<br/>not req'd.<br/><br/>INNOVATION ENGINEER<br/>Identify potential opportunities w/in packaging industry for<br/>further development. Innovate product design(s) &/or mfg. technologies. Facilitate<br/>partnership networks w/in our current & new supply base as well as w/ local Universities to<br/>develop innovative opportunities. Must have engineering degree or industrial exp. Min. 5 yrs<br/>working in a mfg. envir.<br/><br/>PLASTICS ENGINEERS<br/>Manage/coordinates activities of a designated project to ensure<br/>project goals or objectives are being met w/in defined time frame & budgets. Work with<br/>new/existing tooling. Test/qualify proto type & production tooling. Provide aid to the Design<br/>group including repair & updating existing molds. Assist in the Development & evaluation<br/>QA/QC process systems, procedures, & statistical techniques. Sample/debug proto type &<br/>production tooling per procedure. Implementation of new molds, system improvement, &<br/>experimental designs.<br/><br/>PLASTICS MOLDING TECHNICIAN<br/>Requires an adaptive individual w/diverse range of<br/>skills, exp. & abilities. Determines molding process problems while finding best solution for<br/>technical aspect of the molding machine, product & quality procedures. Check all aux.<br/>equip. including dryers, thermolators, chillers, etc. Resp. for startup/shut down of presses.<br/><br/>PLASTICS MACHINE MAINTENANCE<br/>To keep production molding machines running<br/>w/min. down time. Exp. in troubleshooting/repair Injection Molding Machines & related<br/>support equip. preferred.
