Concentrates maker Additive Plastics Group LLC will add 24 jobs through a $6.2 million expansion in Belton, S.C.
Belton-based APG plans to upgrade its existing facility and also add a 25,000-square-foot building at the same site to accommodate increased logistics demand, officials said in a news release. The expansion is set to be completed in October 2024.
APG makes color and additive concentrates for a wide variety of markets. Officials said the firm custom formulates and compounds a broad variety of polymers, enhancing the aesthetic and mechanical performance of these materials.
"APG has been growing year over year, and we are proud to be able to have a positive impact on Anderson County and its people," President Marc Vanover said.
South Carolina Secretary of Commerce Harry Lightsey III added that APG "has amassed its own formula for success" and that the additional investment "provides an opportunity to offer ideal plastic solutions to create next-level products."
