Investment firm Point Grey Holdings has acquired Group DKG, a business that includes plastic laminate maker An-Cor Industrial Plastics Inc.
In a news release, officials with Point Grey in Kelowna, British Columbia, said that their firm "targeted Group DKG for its 60-year tradition of excellence, bringing high-quality products to industrial customers."
They added that the deal "aligns with [Point Grey's] commitment to expanding its portfolio in the industrial engineering/infrastructure sector, enhancing its capabilities and broadening its market reach."

Group DKG also includes Precisioneering DKG Corp. of Toronto. That business makes corrosion-resistant fiberglass equipment, including fiberglass tanks, brine makers, pollution control scrubber systems, platforms, walkways and ladders.
No purchase price was disclosed. Point Grey officials added that the acquisition "marks a significant milestone" for their firm. "By integrating [DKG] into our operations, we aim to leverage their extensive industry experience, innovative solutions, and unparalleled engineering capabilities," they said.
