Arburg GmbH & Co. KG’s arburgXworld, the machinery maker’s customer portal and its digitization strategy, lets injection molders manage their Arburg presses, as well as day-to-day interactions with Arburg.
Customers can order spare parts, schedule and manage technical service and handle many other features.
Free apps include Machine Center, which gives customers centralized access to operating instructions and spare parts for Arburg presses built since 2017; Service Center, for communicating with Arburg about support or service, Calendar, for managing scheduled service and downloading appointments into the user’s personal calendar; Shop, showing spare parts catalogs, including exploded-view and 3d drawings and pricing and availability and place orders; and Self Service, showing the status of machines and allow users to analyze errors by entering a problem description or error code.

In other news, Arburg, based in Lossburg, Germany, will show two Freeformer additive manufacturing machines at the Rapid + TCT trade show in Anaheim, Calif., April 21-23. The Freeformer won the People’s Choice Award at the show last year.
