Coral Springs, Fla. — Extrusion machinery manufacturer Boston Matthews Inc. introduced a new design for its compact Universal Jockey brand extruder.
Called BMU, the redesigned extruder can operate in horizontal, vertical or user-defined set positions, such as 45-degree angles, giving the user complete operational flexibility.
The extruder has a lightweight but robust construction that allows for easy positioning, even within tight space conditions, according to a Boston Matthews news release.
Also, the operator controls are cantilevered for easy positioning to match the exact production conditions.
In addition, the operator can carry out routine maintenance.
Boston Matthews says the Universal Jockey also drives technology with quality melt and output performance while being energy efficient.
