Chinese film company Xiamen Changsu will use a Brückner Maschinenbau line to produce what is says is the first 7-meter biaxially oriented nylon (BOPA) film.
The company ordered two sequential film stretching lines from Brückner, with a speed of 340 meters per minute and an output of more than 2.5 tons per hour.
The line surpasses Xiamen’s previous best production by 35 percent in speed and 50 percent in output, Chairman Wang Zhefu said in a news release.
“Xiamen Changsu is one of our longest-standing customers in the BOPA business — not only in China, but worldwide,” said Phillip Chen, managing director of Brückner Far East.
The lines are to start production in the last quarter of 2021.
