Taiwan-based CoreTech System Co. Ltd. has released Moldex3D R17, its next generation of plastics processing simulation software.
The latest Moldex3D gives more comprehensive and realistic simulations, the company said. Also, to tackle the growing demand for lightweight components in the automotive and aerospace sectors, Moldex3D R17 offers significant advancements in composites simulation.
“The release of R17 marks a major milestone for Moldex3D,” said CoreTech President Venny Yang. “The more powerful physical-virtual integration capability and more timely design insights will largely benefit designers, toolmakers, and CAE engineers to help them further advance smart manufacturing capabilities and ultimately enhance their global competitiveness.”
Moldex3D R 17 seamlessly integrates all simulation processes on a single, unified platform and greatly enhances the way users can view and interact with a model. For example, users can now use measurement and scale tools to directly measure shrinkage values and make instant design changes to compensate for shrinkage, CoreTech said.
