Entek Manufacturing LLC, which makes twin screw co-rotating extruders, turnkey extrusion systems, and wear parts and components, has expanded its customer support department.
The company hired Darla Bulmer to lead the growing department. She comes from General Motors Co. where she worked for the past six years in global service positions. Before that, Bulmer worked for Hewlett-Packard Co. as a senior technical leader.
Customer service at the Lebanon, Ore.-based Entek had been handled by the sales, manufacturing and engineering personnel, and that will continue to some degree, according to Linda Campbell, Entek’s vice president of sales.
But the customer support expansion will provide customers more backup from a larger team of dedicated customer service professionals, give salespeople more time to focus on customers and allow the extruder maker to expand support services.
“Entek has been providing its twin-screw extruders to the industry for over 20 years, and our fleet of machines around the world continues to grow,” Campbell said. “Customer support has always been our top priority and the structure of this department is designed to provide even better service to our valued customers.”
In addition to Bulmer, Entek’s customer support department includes Matt Ramsdell and Toby Daugherty. Ramsdell is a 24-year Entek veteran with a background in electrical and controls engineering. Daugherty recently joined the customer support team after four years with Entek’s assembly group.
