Arcade, N.Y. — Equipment supplier Koike Aronson Ransome released its newest portable machine with the ability to both cut and weld.
The IK-12 Next has two patented features: a heat emission mechanism that displaces up to 45 percent of all heat and a creep control button to slow down the machine at the beginning and the end of a cut, which is especially useful for thick plate cutting.
The machine comes with a multi-function digital control panel to precisely set a wide range of parameters. The powertrain ensures continuous drive speed and pulling force regardless of power fluctuations and varying load weight. And, this machine is capable of plasma and oxy-fuel cutting as well as general welding and pendulum weave welding.
For easy set-up, installation instructions are available for instant download to any smart phone.
Koike says the IK-12 Next is manufactured by in-house industry experts who work collaboratively with their customers to customized machines and services for their needs.
