Anyang, South Korea — LS Mtron Co. Ltd. introduced a new low-bed vertical injection molding machine to produce insert-molded specialty products.
The company says the WIZ-VR offers 65-75 percent in energy savings and reduces noise through high-speed rotation and position control of a servo motor-driven rotation table.
"In this way, WIZ-VR applies a servo motor not only to increase positioning accuracy, but also rotate 180 degrees more quickly and accurately," the release says.
The rotation mold is designed to facilitate larger molds while the low-bed rotary table improves work ergonomics by making it easier to attach and detach a mold, the release also says.
The rotary table of the WIZ 250 VR model is 33-inches high for the 250-ton class. LS Mtron says that's about 2-3 inches lower than other companies, making it easier for the operator to insert, which improves safety, convenience and work efficiency.
The machine also features high repeatability, stable control, savings related to cooling water and maintenance, improved injection holding pressure control, and a larger user interface screen with a memo function for operators to make independent notes.
