Midwestern Industries Inc. a screening equipment maker in Massillon, Ohio, has expanded its capability to make custom replacement screen panels.
Screens wear out, just like toothbrush heads, and they must be replaced at optimal intervals to avoid machine downtime. Midwestern Industries, founded in 1953, started weaving screen wire in the early 1970s and continues to create made-to-order screens. The company manufactures its own replacement wire crimping dies.
Markets for the screening equipment include recycled plastics, limestone, aggregates, minerals, sand and gravel.
