Niles, Ill. — Thermal Care Inc. released a new outdoor packaged chiller for process cooling year‐round in a wider range of operating conditions.
Called the Accuchiller KSE series, the chillers are manufactured to work in the harshest weather environments, according to a company press release, which says variable speed EC (electronically commutated) fans allow the chiller to withstand ambient conditions from ‐20°F to 125°F.
The chillers are controlled with a 7‐inch color touch screen with many communication options making it IoT ready. The company offers an optional system (Connex 4.0) for integrated connectivity and secure remote access to all related connected equipment.
"We have worked on the development of this new product line over the last 15 months and are very pleased with the results," Peter Armbruster, sales and marketing director, said. "KSE series industrial chillers are a new approach to outdoor chillers that can withstand the toughest ambient elements while still providing precise control for your process. The standard set point temperature range is from 20°F to 80°F. Competitive units require you to purchase options to achieve this level of control."
The KSE product line comes with independent fluid and refrigeration circuits for built‐in backup, Armbruster added.
The series of chillers also is available from 40 to 720 tons in a combined system.
