Long Beach, Calif. — Ship & Shore Environmental Inc. (S&SE) is stepping up its efforts to support capacity expansion plans for plastics processors with equipment for pollution abatement and environmental protections.
As companies and their executives are increasingly measured on environmental, social and governance (ESG) strategies, it's a critical time to embrace pollution abatement as a way to drive growth in the next decade, according to S&SE officials
To cater to the growing opportunities in the industries for chemical, petrochemicals, oil and gas, and biogas, Ship & Shore broadened its product offerings for: dust collectors and baghouses, which filter the air from fine particles; removal vessels and tanks for sulfurous and hydrocarbon compounds that can cause noxious smells and pollutants; and it expanded fabrication capabilities.
S&SE also has invested in new 3D modelling and piping stress analysis capabilities to better visualize and plan customer projects and installations.
"Ship & Shore had to pull double duty during the pandemic," S&SE President and CEO Anoosheh Oskouian said in a press release. "We have been an essential organization for industry and infrastructure throughout COVID, and we have to prepare for needs in a post-pandemic world. These innovations and expansions will position us to be the most responsive, resourceful, and effective pollution abatement supplier in the world."
