East Troy, Wis. — Wisconsin Oven Corp. has shipped an electrically heated walk-in oven for plastics applications involving sintering parts.
The company serves the aerospace, automotive, composites, pharmaceutical and other industries.
The oven operates at a normal temperature of 700°F but can reach a maximum of 800°F.
The oven's body is constructed of tongue and groove panel assemblies featuring the company's patented high efficiency panel seams.
"This sintering oven is similar to another we provided to this customer in 2013. There are some items that were changed due to customers specifications, including the oven size and recirculation blower," Nicholas Toci, sales engineer, said in a press release.
The overall dimensions are nearly 9 feet wide, more than 7 feet long and 13 feet in height, while the chamber dimensions are 6 feet by 6 feet by 7 feet.
The sintering oven features an insulated floor with wheel guides, 15 stainless steel shelf supports, 19,600 CFM @ 25 HP plug mounted blower, 1,200 CFM @ 1 HP exhaust blower, 96 kW heat input, and a Eurotherm Nanodac digital controller and recorder.
The sintering oven was factory tested and adjusted prior to shipment, including all safety interlocks and operation at the normal and maximum temperatures. The equipment also is backed by a three-year parts warranty.
