Cranston, R.I. — Yushin America Inc. developed a space-saving palletizing robot that it says solves problems related to end-of-line labor shortages at distribution sites.
The PA robot series handles simple to complex unloading, loading and stacking applications.
The series includes two models. The PA-20 supports a payload of 20 kilograms and the PA-40 supports 40 kilograms.
The space-saving design adds flexibility to production lines. A news release says there are fewer obstructive stanchions placed around the robot, allowing for a freer layout like that of an articulated robot.
Also, the controller is safe and easy for the first-time worker.
"Leave everything to the robot to calibrate multiple positions as it recognizes reference aligned positions. Easily change palletizing patterns with a single touch," the release says.
