Stretch film producer AB Stretch has renamed itself as Five Points Film.
The Shelbyville, Tenn.-based firm officially changed its name on May 4. The name change "is meant to mark a major overhaul in customer service, product quality and on-time delivery," officials said in a news release.
Five Points is owned by investment firm Right Lane Industries of Chicago. Officials said that Five Points will continue to make the AB Stretch films line, including Impact Elite, Impact Ultra, Impact Pro, Fierce Wrap, Titan and Armor Wrap. The firm also will continue to make specialty wraps, including six color choices and extra-wide film, ranging from 40 inches to 100 inches wide.
Five Points President Gregg Smith added in the release that the rebranding process "enables us to take on an identity that reflects the positive, customer-focused changes we have made in the last several months."
"We understand that our customers have many choices when it comes to stretch film," he added. "We are committed to providing our customers with a different experience when they buy from Five Points."
