North Ridgeville, Ohio-based airflow component manufacturer Beckett Air Inc. has acquired Riviera Beach, Fla.-based injection molder Advanced Air International Inc.
"Air moving products are Beckett Air's focus and thus made Advanced Air a strategic fit," Jonathan Beckett, CEO and president of Beckett Air, told Plastics News in an email.
"Beckett has always manufactured by way of metal stamping," Mark Wetherbee, business development manager at Beckett Air, told PN. "Advanced Air has always manufactured injection molding. We have both produced similar products … fans, blower housings and wheels."
"There are not many [companies that] manufacture both process types in this air movement market space," Wetherbee said.
Beckett Air will incorporate Advanced Air International's plastic injection molding capabilities into its overall product offerings, a Jan. 3 news release said.
Advanced Air's workforce will "remain in place," Beckett said, as ownership is transferred.
"Both teams are committed to ensuring a seamless integration process," the news release said.
"This acquisition marks a significant milestone for Beckett Air," Beckett said in the news release. "By bringing Advanced Air International into our portfolio, we are not only enhancing our air moving solution capabilities but also reinforcing our commitment to delivering exceptional quality and value to our customers.
"[It] strengthens Beckett Air's position in the market, enabling the company to meet market demand for both metal and injection molded products and serve a broader range of industries," the company added.
Advanced Air International specializes in custom molds for air moving technology. Beckett Air is a family-owned and privately held manufacturing company.
