In a resin distribution deal, Bamberger Polymers has acquired Kolm Polymers Ltd. of The Woodlands, Texas.
In a Nov. 18 news release, officials with Bamberger in Jericho, N.Y., said that through the acquisition, their firm "will be able to expand its ability to provide customers with high-quality products and dependable services."
"Kolm is a quality service-oriented company with a strong reputation in the industry," Bamberger CEO and President Dennis Don said in the release. "Our anticipation is that Kolm Polymers will provide Bamberger with more depth and expertise in specialty resins and allow Bamberger to expand product offerings to Kolm customers."
Bamberger Polymers was founded in 1967. The firm distributes more than 1 billion pounds of commodity and engineering resins annually to customers worldwide.
Since 2018, Bamberger has been owned by investment firm Plastiche SA of Belgium.
