Barbour Plastics Inc. has acquired Keller Products Inc.’s extruded profile division. The deal increases Barbour’s materials offerings into engineering-grade resins.
“It’s going to give us more growth opportunity for existing customers in our existing markets, and then also introduces us to new customers that we have not been doing business with before,” said Michael Casey, president of Barbour Plastics
Barbour Plastics is focused on PVC, commodity plastics and custom extrusions for various markets. It is part of Brockton-based Barbour Corp.
Keller’s extrusion lines are moving from Bow, N.H., into Barbour’s plants in Brockton and Atlanta. The Brockton facility will now have over 30 extrusion machines, six of them acquired from Keller.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
