Berlin Packaging LLC is acquiring another packaging supplier in Europe, Premi SpA of Milan.
Premi is best known for its glass products for the cosmetic industry, but also provides packaging in other substrates, including plastics.
Premi has more than 150 employees in Europe, the United States and Asia. They will all join Chicago-based Berlin.
"This is a key acquisition for Berlin Packaging. Premi is a market leader in the beauty packaging industry with incredible know-how for the design and production processes. By leveraging our combined footprint and capabilities, we will deliver unparalleled solutions to our customers," said Paolo Recrosio, CEO of Berlin Packaging for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) in a statement.
Berlin has made 19 acquisitions in EMEA since 2016.
Berlin calls itself "the world's largest hybrid packaging supplier of glass, plastic and metal containers and closures."
