Jonas Corp. has announced the acquisition of injection molder Bramli USA of Savannah, Ga., through an asset purchase agreement.
"We are thrilled to acquire the assets of such a respected company with a rich history," said Tony Jonas, owner and CEO of Indiana-based Jonas Corp., in a news release. "Bramli's strong reputation, world-class facility, and talented team in Savannah provide us with an incredible foundation to launch our new business in this exciting industry."
Bramli specializes in plastic consumer products and this acquisition will help launch Jonas into this industry. The company also has mold making, design and development. The facility began in 2016 as the U.S. manufacturing business of Israel-based Bram Industries.
Eli Bramli, CEO of Bramli, sees the acquisition as a step forward.
"I'm confident that Tony Jonas will grow the business with big ambition and wish the Jonas family the best of luck in their new venture," Bramli said in a news release.
Jonas is a family-run business, Tony Jonas is CEO along with his two sons, Traven and Tyler Jonas, in leadership roles. Traven will be the vice president of engineering and innovation and Tyler will be the vice president of operations.
This will mark the first time the company will have cohesive leadership roles.
