Consulting firms C-MACC and ChemOrbis are partnering to deliver polymer market analysis and consulting services to a global network of chemical and plastics market players.
The partnership was announced in late 2024. In a news release, officials with both firms said the deal will combine Houston-based C-MACC's expertise in chemicals and associated industries with Istanbul-based ChemOrbis's global reach and market intelligence platform for polymer markets.
"Our collaboration with ChemOrbis enables us to create a more effective polymer market service that serves a global customer base," C-MACC CEO Cooley May said. "This partnership will aggregate local and regional market data, allowing our clients to make informed decisions based on the latest market trends and product price points."
ChemOrbis Managing Partner Alp Ozdenler added that the addition of North American products to ChemOrbis' portfolio through the partnership "is a game-changer for our clients."
"Our users can now access enriched market intelligence and C-MACC's highly regarded global research, project management, and consulting capabilities," he said.
C-MACC was launched in 2020 by May and Graham Copley, both financial and chemical market veterans. The firm added a U.S. polymer pricing service in early 2023 and in early 2024 formed a materials pricing partnership with consulting firm Plastic Experts International of Fort Worth, Texas.
ChemOrbis, launched in 2001, provides a comprehensive platform for plastic buyers, sellers and producers to help them make informed decisions in volatile markets. The firm now has a client base of more than 70,000 companies.
ChemOrbis offers daily market coverage, price indexes, analysis tools and business networking opportunities in Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
