Plastics News has named three finalists for its annual Chief Financial Officer of the Year award, which will be presented on March 1.
The finalists are Jim Beadle of Teel Plastics LLC, John Glavin of Geon Performance Solutions and Roger Vang of Diversified Plastics Inc.
Nominations were judged by Plastics News along with an independent panel of professional financial practitioners. Criteria included leadership, ethics, business growth, strategic transactions, challenges met and industry/civic contributions.
The winner will be named as part of the Plastics News Executive Forum, scheduled for Feb.27-March 1 in Clearwater Beach, Fla.
Teel Plastics is an extruder and injection molder based in Baraboo, Wis. Geon is a compounder based in Westlake, Ohio. Diversified Plastics is an injection molder and 3D printer headquartered in Minneapolis.
Joe Pryweller, Plastics News' director of conference and event content, will moderate a panel discussion with the finalists at the Executive Forum, where they will discuss operating challenges, controlling costs, setting budgets and other topics that concern the plastics industry.
