Plastics News has named four finalists for its annual Chief Financial Officer of the Year award, which will be presented on March 23.
The finalists are Angela Breitbach of Schoeneck Containers Inc., Matt Fish of Vital Plastics Inc., Steve Wisniewski of Teijin Automotive Technologies and Jim Wojtila of Mar-Bal Inc.
"These four finalists all performed above and beyond the typical duties of a CFO in a challenging year," said Joe Pryweller, Plastics News' director of conference and event content. "They represent a diverse range of companies, from small to large and with differing ownership structures."
Pryweller will moderate a panel discussion with the finalists at the Executive Forum, where they will discuss operating challenges, controlling costs, setting budgets and other topics that concern the plastics industry.
Following the panel discussion, the winner of Plastics News' CFO of the Year will be announced. To register, go to www.plasticsnews.com/execforum.
Nominations were judged by Plastics News along with an independent panel of professional financial practitioners. Criteria included leadership, ethics, business growth, strategic transactions, challenges met and industry/civic contributions.
