Resin distributor Conventus Polymers LLC has a new and larger headquarters in Parsippany, N.J.
In a news release, company officials said that the new location is designed to meet the expanded demands of the firm's growing plastics distribution business. The new location more than doubles the size of the company's previous one, which also was in Parsippany.
The new office space will provide room to grow and more space for collaboration with customers, officials said. The expanded facility will house human resources, finance, commercial operations and a supply chain team, which includes customer service, import/export, warehousing, logistics and material management.
President John Jorgensen and several other employees have relocated from the Houston area to consolidate into the new location. Jorgensen said in the release that "with a larger space and all of us under one roof, we expect this move to yield major synergies to deliver even greater service to our growing customer base."
Conventus employs around 20 in field sales as direct employees or agents, along with a third-party logistics team. The firm distributes materials from approximately 25 local warehouses throughout the U.S. Its core end markets include electrical/lighting, fluid handling, sporting goods, defense, durable health care, and oil and gas.
