DPC Fabrication LLC has invested nearly $2 million to expand in the Tuppers Plains, Ohio, for new work in the introduction of semiconductor industry.
"Being centrally located amongst several megaprojects, this investment puts us in a position to better respond to the growing demand. It is an exciting time for Meigs County and all of Ohio," said Jered Hill, owner of DPC Pipe Fabrication.
The $1.9 million project will add 45 jobs to the area, including welders, machine operators, project managers, human resources and quality control managers.
The company fabricates pipe materials including copper, stainless steel and a variety of plastics. Pipe sizes and configurations can be custom made for industrial customers and contractors.
DPC Fabrication was founded in Ohio in 2015 and plans to continue to grow in the area because of its current relationships with customers. The company said its central location and integrated transportation makes reaching customers and suppliers easier and more cost efficient.
