Medford, N.Y.-based Eastern Whole Fence LLC has acquired Denton, Md.-based Shoreline Vinyl Systems Inc., a family-owned manufacturer of vinyl and aluminum fence and railing products for installers, building material centers and big-box retailers.
Founded in 2003, Shoreline operates out Laurinburg, N.C., in addition to Denton.
The acquired company also formed industry partnerships with Veka Outdoor Living Products, Nationwide Industries, LMT Mercer Group Inc. and National Vinyl Products to meet demand for fence and railing.
Shoreline is positioned for growth thanks to its product quality and customer service in the rapidly growing outdoor living market, according to a news release about the deal.
Terms of the transaction weren't disclosed.
Eastern Whole Fence started out in 1971 as a wholesaler and supplier of fence and related products and then added production of Ilusions brand PVC fencing and railing in a variety of matte finish colors and faux woodgrains.
Eastern Whole Fence products, which are used for residential, commercial and industrial applications, also include a full line of wood fence, chain-link products, aluminum and steel ornamental products, welded mesh, guide rail, and post and rail products.
