Denver — Polyethylene tubing maker and injection molder Eldon James Corp. has broken ground on yet another expansion in Fort Collins, Colo.
The company, which also makes connectors, disconnects, fittings and related components, said the expansion is needed because of Eldon James' substantial growth in pharmaceuticals and medical devices. The firm has supplied tubing and parts for ventilators during the COVID-19 pandemic, and also serves multiple vaccine producers.
The Denver-based company said its "PVC-free" products are particularly in demand.
"Hospitals are actively seeking medical devices that are free from harmful plastics like PVC," especially components made by U.S. manufacturers, the company said in a May 19 news release.
