The plastics division of Frigel Firenze SpA will show its extended lineup of mold cooling products at K 2019.
The Italian company will show the Ecodry system. The adiabatic fluid cooler is claimed as having the potential to cut water usage by up to 95 percent. At K, the units will be presented in a glycol-free, self-draining configuration.
In addition, Frigel is planning to show a series of new additions to the Thermogel range of temperature control units (TCUs).
These include the TBD Series, designed for ‘general’ molding applications with temperatures up to 90°C. Also on display will be the TDK Series (120°C) and TPK Series (180°C).
The new line was developed in partnership with Matsui, a Japanese specialist in polymer technologies.
For parts requiring a high finish quality, Frigel will also have the Thermogel Heat & Cool THC Series. This supports process synchronization between hot and cold temperatures using pressurised water up to 180°C.
Visitors to K 2019 can find Frigel in Hall 11, Atand A60. K 2019, the largest polymer trade fair in the world, will be held Oct. 16-23 in Düsseldorf, Germany.
