Beguerie previously was vice president of human resources at Chart Industries, a position he held for two years. Before that, he spent eight years as director of human resources, regional services director and global human resources director at Dresser-Rand–Siemens.
Tracy Garrison, CEO of Geon, said in a news release that Beguerie "has an impressive track record driving organizational change and leading sustainable cultural transformations."
Beguerie earned an international business master's degree from the Lord Ashcroft International Business School of Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge, U.K. He has an undergraduate degree in human resources management from the business school of the Paris Île-de-France Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Geon Performance Solutions says it has 1,100 employees and 12 manufacturing plants globally. It's a portfolio company of SK Capital Partners, which in October 2019 acquired the Performance Products and Solutions business of PolyOne Corp. for $775 million.
In addition to PVC compounding, Geon also does polypropylene compounding and contract manufacturing.
