Injection molder Century Mold Co. Inc. is building an addition to its Middletown, Ohio, plant that will double the square footage there, giving the firm more warehouse space, according to a local news report.
The automotive parts supplier, which currently leases a warehouse facility off-site, will add 55,000 square feet of space to its Middletown building, bringing total space there to more than 100,000 square feet, according to a recent report in the Dayton Business Journal.
The company expects to begin work on the addition in September and complete construction in March.
In addition to Middletown and its headquarters in Rochester, N.Y., Century Mold has locations in Wixom, Mich.; Franklin and Shelbyville, Tenn.; and Chihuahua and Querétaro, Mexico, according to its website.
The company ranked No. 62 in Plastics News' just-released survey of North American injection molders, with relevant sales of $145 million, down from $165 million the year before, according to Plastics News and industry estimates.
