Custom injection molder Venture Plastics Inc. has purchased two new Nissei presses, citing increasing demand for its products.
One machine, a 197-ton press with robotic automation, is being installed this month [February] at the company's headquarters plant in Newton Falls, Ohio. The other, a 123-ton model with a Yushin robot, is slated to be delivered in March to its El Paso, Texas, facility. Both presses will use RJG process monitoring and control systems.
With these purchases, Venture Plastics will have 16 machines in El Paso and 19 in Newton Falls. Its presses range in capacity from 55 tons to 1,440 tons, the company said in a news release.
The Newton Falls operation consists of two buildings, with 67,000 square feet dedicated to molding, and 25,000 square feet for warehousing and engineering. The El Paso operation is a 60,000-square-foot site. The company employs 180 and reported 2019 sales of $35 million.
Venture Plastics serves markets including consumer goods, major appliances, fuel delivery, energy storage, solar, rail, automotive, medical and agriculture markets. The company also does structural foam molding, overmolding, insert molding and gas-assisted molding, and offers numerous secondary services.
