A Feb. 16 fire broke at Vico Plastics Inc., an injection molding company in Edgerton, Wis., caused $1.5 million in damage, according to the Dane County Sheriff's Office.
No one was injured, the Sheriff's Office said in a news release. Employees had left the facility the previous evening and reported seeing no problems at that time.
The fire's cause has not been determined. The Madison Area Fire Investigation Team will lead a probe.
The fire took six to eight hours to extinguish.
Plastics News was unable to reach Vico Plastics for further comments.
The company opened 20 years ago and has $2 million in sales in North America, according to Plastics News estimates.
