John Beary is no longer president of Yizumi-HPM Corp., the operation in Iberia, Ohio, that sells injection molding machines and die casting equipment made in China by its parent company, Guangdong Yizumi Precision Machinery Co. Ltd.
His last day was Sept. 27.
Beary's departure was confirmed by Bill Duff, the general manager of sales and marketing for injection molding presses at Yizumi-HPM. Duff said it was a mutual agreement between Beary and the company.
Beary could not be reached for comment.
Beary, had worked at HPM several times over the years, first from 1997-2000, and he rejoined the company in 2002 when it was owned by Taylor's industrial Services. He left the machinery manufacturer in 2007 for another job, then rejoined HPM in 2013 after Yizumi's purchase in 2011 of HPM's intellectual property.
The company promoted Beary to president in 2016, when HPM's longtime top executive, Bill Flickinger, moved into the role of chief financial officer.
Duff said Flickinger remains CFO and is an active director of the company. Flickinger will handle die-casting machines, he said.
Duff said Yizumi-HPM plans to replace Beary within 2019.
At K 2019, Yizumi will be at Hall 13, Booth D80.
