Findlay, Ohio-based Kreate Brands LLC plans to open an $11.5 million, 235,000-square-foot manufacturing center in Las Vegas, where it will create 60 jobs as it builds a presence in the western United States.
Founded in 2015 with a mission to turn the "same old" into "new and improved," Kreate specializes in storage, shelving, outdoor furniture and utility products.
The company, which was named a Home Depot 2025 Partner of the Year, offers 3-D prototyping, tooling and distribution services in addition to manufacturing.
Kreate has been going through growth spurts in recent years.
"When looking for a west coast location to serve our customers' needs, North Las Vegas was a natural choice for Kreate due to its logistical access and availability of quality employees," Kreate founder and CEO Nickolas Reinhart said in a news release. "We make quick, decisive moves and execute without unnecessary red tape. North Las Vegas' support in our getting up and running quickly was very important in our decision to invest in the area."
The facility is expected to be fully operational by June 2025.
The 60 jobs, which will be filled over a five-year period, include engineering, management and technical roles.
The Nevada Governor's Office of Economic Development board of directors approved tax abatements for Kreate during its February quarterly meeting.
A year ago, Kreate acquired an injection molding plant in Georgetown, Texas, from Tasus Corp. to expand its geographic reach for manufacturing, warehousing and distribution.
Then, in August 2024, Kreate, opened a 20,000 square foot marketing, engineering, and product testing innovation center in Atlanta, Georgia.
Overall, Kreate has about 2 million square feet of manufacturing, warehousing and innovation facilities in the United States.
