Hamburg, Germany-based Lindal Group is expanding with a new production line in North America for its nasal actuator product called Pinocchio.
The new line at Lindal's Columbus, Ind., facility will improve lead times for increased demand, the company said in a news release.
"Expanding our production capacity allows us to deliver more flexible lead times for our customers, which in turn, allows them to be more responsive to their own customers' requirements," Arianna Chang, sales director at Lindal North America, said in the release.
"The Pinocchio nasal actuator is one of Lindal's most popular dispensing products," the release said. It is manufactured in a mono material and available in both child and adult versions. Pinocchio is supplied with a sterilizable over cap and is compatible with the company's range of female valves and bag-on-valve (BOV) technology.
"Pinocchio's increased production capacity, coupled with the recent expansion of BOV manufacturing capabilities reinforces Lindal's commitment to serving our North American and global customers in this highly dynamic market segment," Chang added.
Lindal did not respond to multiple requests for comment by Plastics News.
