LK Machinery Europe, a subsidiary of the China-based L.K. Machinery International Limited, is showcasing two injection molding machines at Fakuma.
Led by the newly appointed regional manager for Europe, Stefano Riva, the company is focusing on precision, sustainability, and energy efficiency.
LK will demonstrate the production of precision parts for caliper gauges, using the Potenza V and the Elettrica EL130T injection molding machines. Both machines, equipped with single-cavity hot runner molds, can producing polycarbonate components with remarkable accuracy, according to Riva.
The Potenza V is a servo-hydraulic toggle injection molding machine with a clamping force of 2,000 kN. The machine, praised for its eco-friendly "Green Pack" technology, offers low energy consumption supported by an infrared heating system. Riva noted the machine’s ability to meet high European standards: “With our machines, we meet the highest European demands and standards: a few shots to the first good part, fast and reliable, with low maintenance requirements.”
Also on display will be the all-electric Elettrica EL130T. The machine is particularly suited for cleanroom production, making it ideal for industries such as medical devices, pharmaceuticals, and electronics.
"Sustainability was at the top of the priority list when configuring the machine," Riva explained, highlighting its energy-saving features and zero-defect production. The Elettrica is equipped with the Innovance process control system, ensuring repeatability and efficiency.
Both machines reflect LK’s commitment to Industry 4.0, with intelligent networking capabilities, user-friendly programming, and automation systems aimed at improving productivity while reducing environmental impact.
“The overall advantage for the user is higher productivity with lower unit costs,” Riva concluded.
