Magna has 34 locations in Michigan and employs more than 12,000 Michigan residents. The company is building a $100 million seating plant in Auburn Hills to supply General Motors Co.’s Orion Assembly, which is scheduled to launch production next year. Magna laid off 94 in Auburn Hills as a result of the break in GM business.
