La Verne, Calif.-based medical supplier Marman Industries has invested about $2 million to expand its operations as it's seen "double digit annual growth for the last three years."
Marman added 20 new employees to its project engineering team, mold makers, process engineers, quality and production personnel, Felix Rozuk, director of sales and marketing, told Plastics News in an email.
Marman expanded its metrology lab, added a Zeiss 0-Inspect vision system, a Zeiss coordinate measuring machine and a Makino F5 hard milling machine to support its tool room for medical molds, a Sept. 7 news release said.
The company is also adding a second clean room expected to be complete this fall, "with all new Arburg injection molding machines," the release said.
"Marman is on track for our fourth year of double digit annualized growth," Rozuk said in the release. "I attribute our success to our quality assurance program and exemplary customer service. You can't buy happy customers. We work hard for our clients, and it shows."
Marman Industries manufactures and designs molds and plastic products for the medical device and health care industry.
