Detroit — The Injection Molding & Design Expo, a new trade show sponsored by Crain Global Polymer Group and AMI, will take place May 25-26 at Detroit's Huntington Place.
The trade show and conference had been set for March at the site also previously known as Cobo Center and TCF Center, but recently a number of participating companies requested Crain, the parent company of Plastics News, and AMI to move the event to later in the year when there would be fewer conflicts with other industry events.
A list of exhibitors and conference speakers is available at injectionmoldingexpo.com.
In addition, the Swiss Plastics Expo, set for March 15-17 in Luzern, Switzerland, will be delayed until sometime in 2023.
"The current situation surrounding the coronavirus, the tightening of protective measures and the strict entry restrictions present us with a great deal of planning uncertainty," organizers said in an announcement.
Specific dates for the 2023 event will be released in early 2022.
