NYX Linden LLC is investing $10.4 million to expand its Linden, Tenn., manufacturing operations.
The project, expected to create 137 new jobs, will add 16,000 square feet to the facility's molding bay and a 24,000-square-foot shipping warehouse, a March 16 news release said.
"We have a dedicated workforce here at the NYX Linden plant, and this opportunity for expansion will not only create more jobs for Perry County and the surrounding areas but will also create advancement opportunities for our current employees," Todd McCaig, plant manager at NYX Linden LLC, said in the release. "We are excited for this opportunity."

NYX Linden LLC is a subsidiary of Livonia, Mich.-based NYX Inc., which designs and manufactures automotive parts and components, including door panels, center consoles, grab handles and more. It is No. 29 in the most recent Plastics News ranking of North American injection molders with an estimated $330 million in sales.
