Alliance, Ohio-based rotational molder Trilogy Plastic Inc. has purchased a large Ferry four-arm, independent-arm machine for its contract molding plant in Alliance, located near Trilogy's main headquarters factory, which does custom molding.
Both factories have a total of 286,000 square feet of manufacturing and warehousing space.
The investment follows Trilogy's addition of its 10th rotomolder and fifth five-axis CNC machining center, at the end of last year.
"We will invest in technology and our people to continue our journey to be the best custom rotational molder in the U.S.," Trilogy President Daren Balderson said.
With $26 million in sales, Trilogy Plastics is the 22nd largest rotational molder in North America, according to the most recent Plastics News ranking. Trilogy employs 240.
